It is a very challenging project.

The project of the Heavy-duty Driving Mechanism is to redesign the driving system to replace the old one for 4 pairs of sliding door panels, including to replace the existed power transmission system with our design which comply with the ArchSD General Specifications GSEE02-2012 and contract requirement.

The height of each sliding door panel is about 5 meters and it weights 7.5 metric tons. The power transimission system is installed on top of each door panel.  

It took 45 days to complete the project, starting from conceptual to design, prepare the demo.  and project submission approval, material preparedness and delivery, installation and calibrations, until test and commissions.

We were required to shift the completion of the installation schedule within 3 month to 1 month (2 months ahead the schedule). Eventually, it took 10 days to prepare the materials after the demonstration and approval, and complete the project to install 4 systems with testing and commissioning within 20 days. 

The 4 systems to driving 4 pair of sliding door successfully passed a durable test without failure, respectively.  The durable test required the system non-stop running 200 cycles of opening and closing the door. 

We handed over the system on schedule by end of 2020 and earn a high reputation.
